Control the pages that the widget will appear on

In Pjax Blog theme, all widget areas except for “Sidebar in Post/Page” are commonly displayed across the website. But, sometimes you want to let some widgets appear on specific pages.
To do so, “Widget logic” plugin is very useful and flexible.

Install Widget Logic

This plugin gives every widget an extra control field called “Widget logic” that lets you control the pages that the widget will appear on.
The text field lets you use WP’s Conditional Tags, or any general PHP code.

Display widgets only in your front page or home page

If you want to display a widget only on the front page or home page, put is_front_page()|| is_home() in Widget Logic textarea.

See examples and details here.
